spray foundation makeup what not to wear - The Education

The Education of Millionaires: It's Not What You Think and It's Not Too Late (Portfolio)

The Education of Millionaires: It's Not What You Think and It's Not Too Late (Portfolio)

The Myth: If you get into a good college, study hard, and graduate with excellent grades, you will be pretty much set for a successful career.

The Reality: The biggest thing you won't learn in college is how to succeed professionally.

Some of the smartest, most successful people in the country didn't finish college. None of them learned their most critical skills in an institution of higher education. And like them, most of what you'll need to learn to be successful you'll have to learn on your own, outside of school.

Michael Ellsberg set out to fill in the gaps by interviewing a wide range of millionaires and billionaires who don't have college degrees, including fashion magnate Russell Simmons, Facebook cofounder Dustin Moskovitz and founding president Sean Parker, WordPress creator Matt Mullenweg, and Pink Floyd songwriter and lead guitarist David Gilmour. Among the fascinating things he learned:

How fashion designer Marc Ecko started earning $1,000 a week in high school with his own clothing business and later grew it into an empire.
How billionaire Phillip Ruffin went from lowly department store clerk with no college degree to owner of Treasure Island on the Vegas Strip.
How John Paul DeJoria went from homelessness to billionaire as the founder of John Paul Mitchell Systems hair care products.
This book is your guide to developing practical success skills in the real world. Even if you've already gone through college, the most important skills weren't on the curriculum--how to find great mentors, build a world-class network, learn real-world marketing and sales, make your work meaningful (and your meaning work), build the brand of you, master the art of bootstrapping, and more.

Learning the skills in this book well is a necessary addition to any education, whether you're a high school dropout or a graduate of Harvard Law School.

Made a quick order on Sephora.com for MUFE HD Foundation (shade 127); let's hope this works out well! I think it matches me pretty well, and I had to choose it blindly.

Also bought a UD Primer Potion in Sin because I love neutrals. They tossed in a couple of samples, inluding a Givenchy Mister Mat. However, I only got one out of the three purfume samples I requested at checkout. A litlte disappointing.

I should just stop taking pictures after 6 PM. This way, I don't have to fire flash, and you can still see the picture. It looked fine on the camera, though. D:

Death - Makeup Test - Foundation

This is the third layer of foundation. I couldn't be comprehensive because I already had my eyes done, but it does seem to look just a touch more pale.

The dark red lipstick works okay and is like the color she's wearing in The High Cost of Living. I may try a black lipstick though as most other places seem to show her with black lips. I can't believe I was at Hot Topic today and forgot to look for some!

The Education of Millionaires: It's Not What You Think and It's Not Too Late

Many hugely successful people never finished college-what did they figure out that others didn't?
Everyone knows that Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to start the companies that would make them billionaires and change the world. But there are plenty of others who figured out a path to real success without finishing college.
Michael Ellsberg interviewed a wide array of self- educated successes, from self-made billionaire John Paul DeJoria, who took himself from homelessness to vast wealth in hair care, to Felix Dennis, founder of Maxim, which revolutionized magazines, to Matt Mullenweg, founding developer of WordPress, which revolutionized the Web.
Ellsberg draws on these entrepreneurs for their most powerful insights and highlights the key principles they rely on for educating themselves and achieving success in the real world. He shows you:
• The mind-set separating self-made entrepreneurs from cubicle- jockeys and middle-managers
• How to design a career that earns you money while connecting with your deepest passion
• The secret to connecting with high-powered, influential mentors.
